JJ Brandstatter

John “JJ” Brandstatter is a land development and infrastructure construction executive with more than 25 years of experience leading large-scale horizontal development, underground utilities, and civil infrastructure projects. With a background in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado, JJ has built his career on both corporate leadership and successful company ownership, bringing a strong owner’s perspective to cost control, scheduling, and profitability.

As Owner and Principal of J2 Development / Management, he managed the development of more than 5,000 single-family lots and multiple metropolitan districts, overseeing proformas, entitlements, infrastructure design, and full project execution. He later acquired and grew Twin Peaks Utilities and Infrastructure, doubling revenues within six months and expanding operations to more than 150 employees while broadening services to include utilities, grading, and concrete construction. As an owner, he created a development and infrastructure platform capable of managing and self-performing all aspects of civil land development.

In his leadership roles with major contractors, JJ has led complex, multimillion-dollar highway, drainage, bridge, and underground utility projects, consistently improving operational efficiency and financial performance. He is known for building strong teams, scaling companies, negotiating complex municipal and bond matters, and delivering high-quality infrastructure projects on schedule and within budget.
